This page gives you an explanation of my setup.
If you click on picture gallery, you will find the most recent pictures (may 2007). And if you click on the switchboard, you will see some pictures of all the switching inside my house.
But for now here is an explanation of what I have.
You will see that I use 4 posts. Three a 14 foot and one is 18. I have to use those kind of posts because the trees are very high here.
Post 1
You find on this post the second toroidal T90 I bought. This dish has lnbs to :
85, 89, 93. 97, 101, 105, 107.3, 113, 116.8, 119, 123 and 127 degrees West.
Under this dish there is a recycled Starchoice dish with two lnbs using an interesting bracket that allows you to place many lnbs on the same dish while keeping the possibility of rotating lnbs on 360 degrees.
Then you have my "old" Fortec 1m dish (the first one I bought). Traditionnally installed with 1 lnb.
Then we go to post 2.
This post is much simpler. Only one winegard 1.p0 m dish with HH120 motor and invacom twin lnb.
Post 3
This post host the first Toroidal T90 I boutht. This one has lnbs on :
61.5, 72, 79, 83, 87, 91, 95, 99, 103, 107.
Under that you have the Digiwave 1.0 m dish with 1 lnb.
And then the 18 inch dish.
On the third post you have the big 10 foot dish with C and KU and orthomode feed.
And a Toroidal T55 with 4 lnbs.
Finally post 4.
post 4 has been installed at the other end, it is not near the other ones. The reason for that is because I wanted to get Atlantic sats. So I installed the fist dish wich is a 1m. Winegard dish with HH120 and Invacom twin lnb.
And finally a digiwave 1.2 m dish currently getting Telstar 12 at 15 w.
All of those lnbs are double and two cables per lnbs have been placed in earth in pvc conduits. This was a big job.
Everyone of those lnbs are connected to multiswitches allowing me to connect them to many receivers. You can check the switchboard page to have an idea of those connections.
