This Vantage switch was my first attempt to break the maximum 8 lnbs barrier. You can place 8 lnbs on this switch and using an ecoda 22khz switch or a 0/12 v switch you can get 16 lnbs

It uses a combination of committed and uncommitted switches to work. Now the only dvb receiver that I know that supports this combination is the Coolsat 6000
On the sofware side My Theatre http://www.dvbcore.com supports it. I now prefer working with real uncommitted 8 ports switches.
It is easier and is supported by more receivers.
