
At first I saw a rumour on a dvb web site that this switch would let pass diseqc commands throught it. This would be a first because normally you can't place a 22khz switch before a diseqc switch. This is the standard way to do it.

Now with the Ecoda switch you don't have to place 8 22khz switches to obtain the same result. You just place the Ecoda switch before the diseqc switch.
This allows you to make some interesting setups.

You can even place a diseqc on port 0 of the switch.
